The beaches of Costa Rica
Going to the beach is a must when you are traveling to Costa Rica and want to have a good tan. It is not advisable; however, try to tan in one day because it takes from 24 to 48 hours to the skin to produce melanin, a dark pigment that reduces the aging process caused by the sun. The healthiest thing you should do is to use plenty of sunscreen, with a high SPF.
The Villaggio Flor del Pacífico is located on the beautiful coastline of Playa La Penca of typical white sand, Blue Flag awarded for cleanliness and protected by tropical islands.
Playa Conchal, a name that originates from the small shells that form the beach of the bay, is also considered one of the most beautiful beaches of Costa Rica and the world.
Playa Flamingo, which takes its name from the homonymous town and famous port for fishing world events, is a beach located near the cliffs where actors and personalities have built their vacation homes.
Playa Grande is a very well-known beach of Costa Rica because, at some times of year, it is the night goal of Leatherback turtles, which come to lay their eggs. From the Villaggio Flor del Pacífico boat trips to visit all the bays and beaches accessible only by sea can be made.
